Beach

On the south side of the creek mouth is a 20 m high 1.5 km wide wooded peninsula that contains the Raffles Bay pearl farm, which consists of several buildings and a jetty, as well as pearl racks in the bay. On the south side of the farm are two small embayments containing beaches NT 385 and NT 386, 200 m and 300 m long respectively. These two low energy beaches, located deep within the bay, each consist of a narrow high tide beach backed and bordered by wooded slopes, as well as fringing mangroves, with fronting 300 m wide mud flats.
