Beach NT 598 lies on the east side of the creek in lee of the 1 km wide tidal shoals. The beach is 300 m long, faces north and terminates at a mangrove-lined shoreline with a 1 km wide series of three older spit-beach ridges backing the beach. The coastal plain emerges at the shore 1 km east of the beach, with several mangrove-lined low rocky outcrops producing a more crenulate shore.
