Beach

In lee of Double Island, a small reef, is a 40 m patch of sand (62) below 10 to 20 m high bluffs, fronted by rock reefs, and with no safe foot access. Back Beach (63) has 2WD access to the overhanging 10 m high bluffs. It is a 50 m long sand beach strewn with boulders and fronted by a rock reef. Both beaches receive only low waves at the shore.

Swimming

While these beaches receive lower waves, none are safe for swimming owing to the difficult access and/or presence of rocks and reefs.

Surfing

None at the beaches, though these is a bit of a left point break in Boozy Gully called Cullen Reef, and a break off the point called Lighthouse Reef.

Fishing

A very popular fishing area with the many cliffs, bluffs and rock platforms providing a wide range of sites to fish the deeper rock holes and gutters.

General

The best way to see these beaches and section of coast is to walk the Seaspray and Seaview walking trails, which take in both side of cape Buffon.
