Beach

In the apex of open Addis Bay are two 50 m pockets of sand. Steep tracks lead down from the road to each of these. The first has a narrow opening to the sea, while the second has a continuous platform.

Swimming

All these beaches are unsuitable for safe bathing, apart from in the protected tidal pools at high tide.

Surfing

There is generally too much rock and not enough reef along this section for rideable surf.

Fishing

Most of the tracks to these beaches are made by fishers, who fish the extensive rock platforms.

General

A spectacular section of coast, best left for viewing and rock fishing.
