Beach

The western end of Nanarup beach (WA 383) commences at the inlet mouth and curves to the southwest for 400 m to the 20 m high granite boulders of Islet Point (Fig. 4.92). The point is connected to the shore by a small tombolo between Nanarup and the point beaches. Waves continue to decrease along Nanarup Beach averaging about 1 m by the point. The beach grades from a lower energy transverse bar and rip to a low tide terrace against the point.
