Beach

Beach WA 738 is located between two series of two granite rock outcrops at the eastern end of the main beach. It is a 250 m beach, bordered by the low orange granite rocks. Waves are usually low, but a rip develops between the rocks during higher swell conditions. A car park off the Eagle Bay Road is located right behind the centre of the beach. Meelup Regional Park incorporates a series of low energy north-facing beaches, each bordered by sloping granite rocks and backed by densely vegetated slopes. The most popular of the beaches are Meelup and Castle Bay (WA 739 & 740), while a walking track is required to reach the more isolated Castle Point and Curtis Bay beaches (WA 741-743).
