Beach

The main point beach (WA 961) continues due north for 1.7 km to the southern end of Nambung Bay. It is a crenulate beach responding to the shallow reefs that extend along the shore and result in low wave to calm conditions at the shore. A series of crenulate foredune ridges back the beach extending up to 400 m to the east. The have been transgressed in the south by now vegetated parabolic dunes.
