Beach

Beach WA 1616 commences at Badijirrajirra Creek mouth and trends south past the Kailis Fisheries and some small creek mouths for 3.5 km to the next prominent creek mouth. The Kailis complex includes a small jetty and breakwater, fish processing plant and caravan park, with fishing boats often moored off the jetty (Fig. 4.362) and dinghies pulled up on the beach. The beach contains coarse material from the creek. It is paralleled by the 100 m wide sand flats with patchy fringing reef up to 500 m offshore.
