Radar Reef lies at the southern most point on the southwestern tip of the island. The exposed reef is a 100-200 wide intertidal platform, with relatively high waves breaking along the outer edge to form the lefthand RadarReef break. Beach RI 43 consists of a narrow 150 m long strip of sand wedged in between the base of steep 40 m high vegetated bluffs and the platform. A spur off the island road terminates on the bluffs above the western end of the beach, with a walking track down to the shore.
