Eagle Bay is a 200 m wide, northwest-facing, semicircular-shaped bay located 600 m northeast of the cape. The bay is surrounded by 20 m high calcarenite bluffs, with platforms and reefs off each point. The reefs lower waves to about 0.5 m inside the bay, where a narrow 250 m long beach (RI 45) hugs the base of the bluffs. Sandy seafloor, patchy reef and seagrass fill the shallow bay floor.
