Kings Beach (LH 6) is located 100 m to the north and is a 500 m long strip of high tide sand extending from the basalt boulders that separate it from Salmon Beach to the calcarenite outcrop that forms the northern border with Johnsons Beach. It is 20 m wide, backed by a low foredune and narrow coastal plain, which widens to 300 m in the north, where the southernmost settlement on the island is located. It is fronted by shallow calcarenite and reef flats that deepens into a 300 m wide channel between the bordering coral reef, with surf break over the reef to either side, both located 750 m offshore.
