On the eastern side of the point is 500 m long Rapid Creek beach (NT 144) - often referred to as Kite Corner. This consists of a veneer of high tide sand over protruding rocks, with a mixture of sand and rock flats exposed at low tide. Beach entry is difficult due to low eroding cliffs. The cliffs are backed by a narrow foreshore reserve, road and then apartment buildings.
Beach Length: 0.3km
General Hazard Rating: 1/10
