Beach WA 1053 commences on the northern side of the small headland and trends due north for 4.2 km to a subtle sandy foreland called Knobby Head. Seagrass returns to the shoreline and continues the length of the low energy beach. About 15 shacks are scattered along the beachfront, with the main road running ontop of a calcarenite bluff, 200-300 m to the east.
