Beach WA 854 is located on the northern side of the lab in line with Margaret St. It starts as 100 m long open pocket of sand, free of rocks, then narrow to the north as a thin strip of sand between the bluffs and parallel reefs. A large car park is located along the rear of the northern half of the beach.
